The Tower Hamlets Film Office, managed by The Film Office played host to High-end fashion brand Valentino as they took to Arnold Circus, Boundary Gardens and the Boundary Estate and the local area to film their latest Autumn 2022 campaigns.
The production came to us back in March looking to film on the Boundary Estate in Shoreditch. The location is one of our most sought after filming locations with it’s beautiful red brick buildings and period feel, the estate is steeped in history, constructed from 1890, was one of the earliest social housing schemes built by a local government authority and is widely known and the oldest Council Estate in London!
The production also shot on several streets in Tower Hamlets including Columbia Road which makes a fantastic double for New York, check out the location here!
The Autumn 2022 Mens ‘After Club’. collection, is a fusion of contrasting elements and contemporary expression, with rebellious punk-inspired aesthetics encounter formal codes to reimagine menswear. The shoot was fronted by Blanco, who represented host nation Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022.
The Womenswear ‘Promenade’ collection brings new nuances and materials with daywear that follows the changing seasons in a range of colours and weights, being able to be worn now until the end of the autumn season.
As a gesture of thanks to the area, the production gave a donation to the local resident’s association which helps to give back to the community and provide opportunities for local people.
Jacob Hughes-Rodgers, the Film Officer on the job says “We are always delighted to welcome productions of this scale to Tower Hamlets and work with productions to deliver benefits for both the borough and its people by obtaining donations and bringing revenue to the borough. At the Film Office we always aim to accommodate for both the production and the residents with careful liaison and planning. Having a brand such as Valentino is a fantastic way to exhibit the kind of versatile and attractive locations we have across the borough of Tower Hamlets!”
